San Francisco is a total techno weenie town. My little Pottstown, motor head persona was out of place, but there were other tourists that were more amazed than I. The streets are truly steep as a mountain and I took a picture of us while we were driving down Logan Street, the steep brick road flocked to by tourists

                   

 The Golden Gate Bridge was cool, but I'm just as impressed by the Verrazano Bridge.

Cat and Barb wanted to walk across the Golden Gate, but I talked them into an early dinner and a look at the new techno weenie METREON. The METREON is a high tech movie theater with a Sony store, Microsoft Tech center and other neat stuff.  I have no idea what to make of the goofy guy with the sign, but I knew Boomer would get a kick out of him. (Okay, I’m lying. After I took this dude’s picture, he asked for a dollar “for the cause”. I naturally asked, “what cause” and he replied something to the effect “you know, if it wasn’t for Bush violating the Galaxies, maybe I would have been a rich movie star or something.” I said “alrighty then” and off we wentJ)
